Hello, My name is Nicholas and I'm a soldier stationed at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii. I'm honestly not that active in my free time, I spending my extra time building and painting models and playing video games. However as a soldier and being from Louisiana I enjoy the outdoors. I am looking for a hobby that will take me outside and get me off the couch. I have always been very interested in bow hunting and I'm strongly considering taking up the sport. The only issue is I know next to nothing about it. I was hoping I could get some information on where would be a good place to start. If it is any help, I am right handed, right eye dominant, I'm an expert marksman with a rifle (I'm a US Army Infantrymen) and here on Hawaii I know there are boars and maybe some small game like birds and such to hunt. If you have any advice I am more that open to hearing it, and if you need any more information that can help you help me please feel free to ask.
