i need a little help finding a good safe insert glue. i will be putting aluminum inserts into carbon arrows if that info helps. any pointers are welcome. thanks guys! -Dan
You can use either a two-part quick setting epoxy, or instant glue. Either will work fine, just make sure you clean both the inside of the arrow shaft as well as the insert before gluing. You can use either Isopropyl Alcohol or Acetone (nail polish remover). Personally I use the Pine Ridge Instant Arrow Glue. You can buy it here - http://www.bowhunting.com/shopping/Products/Pineridge-Instant-Glue-1oz__2600.aspx
gorilla glue. I wouldn't use the JB weld. That's going to add to much weight to the front of the arrow and the weight will be different on every arrow.
I use Tarzans Grip super glue... they will never come out unless you heat it up.. just have to make sure you push the insert in fast, as it sets very quick
