Ok any and all input and info encouraged here. Looking bout getting some climbing sticks, and I really like the "Big Game" tree steps and I also saw a video on YouTube bout these other type of climbing steps that I really liked as well, they are called "Stepp Ladder". I wanted to know if anyone is using either of these and any info into what type/brand others are using and if they would recommend them Thanks!!!

I will be biased in my opinion, but have a few of the grizzly sticks and lone wolf sticks. The LW sticks are great! Pricey, but you get what you pay for IMO.

I have some muddy sticks and like them a lot. They are shorter, but I really like the two pegs on both sides of stick.

    Concerning treestands...IMO...the more the better.

That being said...i dont splurge. All of my sticks/hang on combos were $90 or less. Whatevers cheapest...i buy.

I think it depends on if your planning on packing the sticks in with you,or setting them up and leaving them up for the season.

Didn't use any sticks prior to this season, but this year I bought some 20 ft ones at ****s. I don't like that the has to be damn near perfect to.use them so I don't think I'll be buying anymore of them. This year I am gonna hang a bunch more stands as opposed to using my climber everywhere I go. I plan to use screw in steps and also I am considering buying 4 or 5 lone wolf sticks and packing them in with me.

All of my stands are currently on private ground and I've used a variety of ladder sticks depending on what was on sale. They are all 20 ft models and of the 3 I've tried (ameristep grizzly, big game, and guide gear-sportsmans guide brand) the ameristeps are by far superior in terms of strength, quality, lack of noise, and ease of getting up the tree. I can usually find them at Walmart end of year clearance for 39.99$

If I were to need to hunt mobile off of public ground I'd probably invest In lone wolf or muddy sticks.

The majority of my hunts will be packing them in and carrying them out. I do hunt 2 other places but they are on private land and already have existing Treestands there. So something light is def needed. Thanks guys!!!!

If you are going to pack in and out most of the time check out lone wolf. Most of my hunts will be public land so i picked up a climber as well as a hang on and sticks and the climber is easy to set up and go. Ive only use the stick and stand in my yard but its really easy to set up as well. You also can be the way LW stands pack. Everything is tight and solid. Id give them a look for sure.
