Just suffered an injury the other day at work that’s knocking me out of the rest of my season. Distal biceps tendon rupture. Unfortunately it requires surgery to repair and sounds like potentially up to 6 months of recovery time. Really bummed because I still had 2 months left to bowhunt down in MD and a 2nd buck tag to fill. Thankfully I was able to take a really nice 8 pt and a doe in PA, and also a solid 7 pt on public land in MD already. But man talk about a punch to the guts to have 2 months of good bowhunting ripped away in an instance. Pretty depressing. I plan at least to take some time to do some scouting into areas of public land I don’t normally venture. Hoping I can find a spot or two that could lead to a future big buck in years to come. 2020 sucks
Sorry to hear that, focus on recovery and come back even stronger. Spend down time learning a new skill
Just worry about recovery. I had the same injury in 2011!! Surgery, the whole 9 yards! It will get better just do your rehab and don't over do it!! Best of luck.
Bummer! Wishing for a speedy recovery. Had a health issue starting in July that wiped out scouting and early bow season.
