Funny, I talked to one of the Directors this morning and he doesn't feel the same way. While he agrees RC did break the law, he also believes that he has done more good for bowhunters in WI than anyone else has recently. Of course, that's his opinion.

Dan I would simply lock it before it gets worse.

Deserves a chance to change now moving forward. Something none of us should overlook.

I don't disagree that he is a complete hypocrite. I just try not to throw stones. Obviously you are closer to the situation and have more knowledge of how he handles himself, and I'm sure you know way more about him than I do. I just think it's pretty silly to revel on an internet site where he's not even a member.

Not sure which group I'm in(sarcasm) but my main point is everyone has some dirty laundry so why celebrate someone else being exposed. Not saying he shouldn't have been exposed just don't understand why lots are so happy to rip him up and celebrate it. Many simply because they are butt-hurt about how he treated them on an internet forum. Pathetic?...Ouch.

I don't get this mentality. Why do we need big brother to come in here and tell us we can't discuss this topic. Those that don't want to be involved, can do so by simply not reading the thread.

Sky and Dan, after thinking you both are right. It hasn't gotten to the degree of needing closed and perhaps I just am thinking way to proactively to the point I guess it'd be ridiculous to close at this point. I'm always an advocate of debate, just pray it can stay logical and respectful.

    Apologies.

No one is perfect. Most of us have broken some sort of game law either knowingly or inadvertently. I don't wish anything harsh towards RC other than him paying his fine and moving on. That being said, I still think he is a complete, in your face, jerk.

And in the end, all he really did was put some friggin corn out to kill a deer.......

Dan, You are right, that is funny! How many members have you talked to or heard from? I also have spoke to the President and Vice President on the situation! They have their opinions as well and so do the members who are voicing theirs, just as Kulas always preached, make you voices be heard, we are...and I'm not talking about posting on forums.

    Couldn't care less;)

For the record, I agree with Germ. And I feel this thread is getting blown out of proportion. Germ is laughing at Rancid for the irony of the situation, as am I. The rest of you are taking it as him running down the streets disgracing Rancids name.

Get over yourselves. Nobody (here) is going to the press with it.

I agree, we're all big boys, I think we generally do a great job of not making things personal. There's a lot of members on here that I disagree with, but respect their opinions.

Germ that was kind of directed toward BHF when said RC deserved everything he got and more. Thought I had quoted it but I see I didn't.

I'm not trying to challenge anything, but how is this any different than the Spook Spann or who ever's thread? 200" plus buck rather than a spike over bait?

"Get over yourselves". The irony dripping from that quote is priceless.

I thought about this too and didn't bring it up because in RC's case it's more about the groundwork he laid before the illegal activity than the illegal activity and harvest.

Think about it...how can you even possibly accomplish getting over yourself? Would a summersault be considered accomplishing this? Or is it okay to use a mirror to be "visually" over one's self?

*this is obviously making light of the discussion
