If the lanes are 2 feet wide and you have to have at least one foot touching a part of the line, and someone is already shooting...would you jump in the middle and start shooting and stand partly in their lane or would you wait to shoot?
I would wait. It sounds like it would be crowded rather quickly if people kept jumping in. I like to have some space while shooting, so with what you described I would wait my turn.
I'd have to see the situation. I've been on the shooting line in a lot of larger tournaments where space was limited. In most of those scenarios guys just aren't going to wait for you to finish, so you need to learn to focus on the task at hand even if someone is in your personal space. The Harrisburg Sportsmans Show 3D shoot was a perfect example of this.
If there are designated lanes, you stay completely in your lane. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
The league I shoot in we shoot side by side for the most part, and most people will wait if they need to lean into your lane from my experience.
We all shoot side by side like this...and I wait if the person is about to draw, holding, etc. If not, Ill walk up. Same with exiting the lane.
Is it 3D or indoor paper? Indoor paper people usually stay in their lane and no one waits for you or vice versa. For 3D a lot of times you need to twist/lean to get clearance depending on how they setup the targets. In that scenario where I've got to be in someone elses way or lane I'll wait.
I'll wait... in fact I'll wait 'til they're done - then step up and smoke 'em 'cuz I can concentrate better
I would wait...i never understand why they want you on top of each other at some shoots and you know the guys that set it up wouldn't want to shoot like that
