Ya I'll be out in Valparaiso Friday to Sunday morning, anxious to try out this EverCalm Deer Herd stuff. Also be using wicks and special golden estrus, hopefully the wind is nice to all of us this weekend, lol.
It is supposed to be a beautiful weekend out there. I hope to see a lot of good Hoosier bucks hitting the ground this weekend.

Out of the 8 friends of mine that hunt the same property in Pulaski Co. there has only been one deer down since Oct. 1st... That just aint right...
Small buck down on Saturday. The rut is definitely on, he followed a trio of does straight though the woods and 30 yards past my stand. Not a wall hanger, but for my first ever deer I'll take it!

I was down there 8-10th. I saw basically the same, lots of smaller bucks chasing but no big boys. At my parent's place in central Indiana there are bucks that are right before shooting light but not within it yet.
I am leaving today at 4pm to head down to our place in Ohio County. I really would like to take a buck with my bow so I am probably going to bow hunt up until Monday and if it still hasn't happened I will probably break out the Savage 220 and see what I can do with that.
Hey do you guys think they'll allow the 30-30 in the next few years? I'm looking for yote / deer / misc killer.
