being a born and raised hoosier i which i were able to join you on october 1st best of luck to you all. GO BOILERS!!
I have a sycamore in my yard. It's a pretty weak tree. The tiniest gust of wind brings down all kinds of limbs and branches.
Why does it not surprise me that would bring a comment from the cheap seats?!?! I didn't bag on Indiana (this time), now did I? Lol but it still good stuff! That all said, the Sycamore is a pretty worthless tree in terms of wildlife value and timber value. So I couldn't disagree with your assertion.
While I live in Illinois my family has land in Ohio county and I can't wait for Oct 1st to get here. I have a few really good bucks on camera and I am so ready to try and put an arrow in one of them!
Ohio county? Where at in Ohio county? My family has a cabin there. It's actually the smallest county in the state.
17 days folks. 17 days. What are you guys doing this last couple weeks to get prepared? Checkin cams, shooting and more shooting, getting your game plan together? It's almost here. Can't wait
Hanging 2 stands. Tearing down plotsaver from beans in 2 more weeks. Praying for more rain to help out the food plots. Waiting...
I follow BAM Chase for my weather forecast. They are much more accurate than any other weather source I've seen out there. They are calling for a big cool down at the end of September and into the beginning of October. I'll take their word on it based on their past forecasts and I am very, very excited for the cool down to happen right as deer season starts. They are going to release their hunter's forecast on October 1st. It should be interesting. BAMCHASE.NET - Home https://www.facebook.com/bamchase https://twitter.com/BAM_Chase
Wow this thread really shut down after a few days. LOL Only a few more days and its go time for whole state. Just wanted to wish everyone good luck and remember to stay safe out there.
I can't wait. I'm planning on checking my trail cams and making a couple of mock scrapes at my spots this weekend. I'll be hunting a new spot/stand for the first time on Tuesday morning. I'm hoping I have that first sit mojo going for me.
Going out today afted my 5 mile run and workout. On the list, check cameras, put my seats in my Muddy Outfitter, put out my bow hangers that I use for camera arms, take down plot saver on beans and possibly seed some slower areas in my plots with rye as we have rain coming tomorrow. All week off next week for hunting!
You 2 good sir! The weather suddenly doesn't look as good as I thought it might be. Going to be pretty dang warm tues and wed.
