    good luck in whitley .i used to hunt off hwy 9 south of columbia city .lost woods to sale of farm.

    How many hoosiers didnt see many deer this year? MY son has only seen a doe with 2 yearlings and thats been it.

    Saw a lot of deer in Vigo County, IN. Buddy killed a buck October 30. I shot and never found a buck out of the stand stand November 6. I killed another buck different property on November 8. Buddy killed a buck out of the same stand November 11. We saw deer!!

    Had a fine year here. I was comfortable targeting a doe off of 2 of my properties but only took one total other than my buck. Northern Indiana here (primarily Elkhart County)

    I had a good year in my eyes didn't get a buck off my new lease due to wanting to give the three I saw more time to grow but I learned a lot of information off my new lease so it was a good year in my eyes

    I have never hunted the hoosier state .Where would be a good place to start on public land ?

    I've never hunted public land but I've seen some nice deer get taken off of the public land in northern parke county

    Brother has some ground south of Terre Haute, not a lot but had a nice buck taken off of it last year. Problem is, I drive right by the family farm in Illinois to get over there.
