I've read some post reguarding increasing draw weight and how much you can expect to increase overtime. I was thinking about turning my new bow up slightly, and was wondering if there was a specific weight per turn on the limbs. I imagine there is not an exact number to go on, and probably varies from bow to bow. I was just hoping some of you could give me an idea. My bow is a Mission Venture 27.5 draw length with up to 70lbs limbs. Thanks in advance
Most of the mission bows Average about 3-4lbs per full revolution/turn of the limb bolt, and most high end bows it can vary anywhere from 2-5 depending on a number of things.
Elite bows are 5 lbs per 1/2 turn. 2 full turns will get you up 10 lbs. Otherwise like others have said its 1 turn equals 5 lbs.
