Since my son is doing so well and we are going home today, I may just be able to get a hunt or maybe if I am lucky 2 in this weekend. I am wanting something that may help my odds since rut is in. If I am able (depending how my son is feeling) to hunt I will be hunting one really nice pinch point on a creek bank and maybe (2nd hunt)near a doe bedding area. I am not targeting big bucks (although it would be nice) and don't get me wrong, a big one comes in I wont pass up the opportunity. Heck I may end up with the brown its down mind set at this point. I am really looking to KILL period. Is there an all around good scent to use on a drag and on wicks for this situation?
I have used Mrs Doe Pee estrus scent for a long time and I think it's the best out there. Should work great this time of year. Glad to hear of your son's continued progress. Will continue prayers for all. Blessings.......Pastorjim
For young bucks I think anything you buy would work but for older/wiser bucks I think your wasting your time doing drags. Just my experiences with scents anyway.
