I'm glad to be here. Will told me about this site so it must be good! I hope you don't regret saying that though. Ya never know, this lady might just tell it like it is, leading to mid-air collisions of flying testosterone!!

I'm sure you will be laughing away! Some things have a tendency to go right up and over my head and it can be pretty funny. Ask Will about the Pity Hole . . . ;)

    LOL...

Steve, Jessica has MEN for lunch daily (hence, her trail name "PMK"-but we'll get to that later).

What a fun gal this young lady is! I convinced her to climb high atop 14,000 foot Mt. Antero, Colorado with me and a few friends. It was our plan to shift through alluvian soil in an effort to find the gemstone aquamarine. Keep in mind, this lassie traveled 5 hours from Rock Springs, Wyoming to play with us over the 4th of July weekend-there was no way I was going to let her go home empty handed. While digging, she was as cute as a bug in a rug. She is intelligent, has a big beautiful smile, wonderfully blue eyes, and her face had dirt stains here and there. We talked bow hunting and wilderness experiences most of the day (she can fish too). The image she left in my mind..."Man, I wish I were younger and single. This is the girl you wanna take home to mom". Anyway, I felt it necessary to seed Jessica's aqua mine. Everytime she looked away, I would toss a stone into the hole she was digging. There were even times when I would distract her-"Hey Jess, look over there"-pointing with a finger. She'd turn and say, "what?"-puzzled. I'd say "snow". She would reply, "yeah, so what about it". I'd say, "It's white". She thought I was crazy, but she'd turn back around to look and I would toss another aqua in her hole. She finally caught me and realized what I was doing. She started to giggle saying, "so, now I'm the pity hole". It cracked us all up! Everyone broke out in laughter!

In Colorado, we give trail names-it's something you earn. To date, Jessica has earned three: Snow White, Pity Hole, and PMK (PMK was derived from two sources: Jessica's Camospace.com website and a pin I made her-see her gallery photos-http://www.camospace.com/Miss_Jessica)

Jessica is a welcome addition (Steve, did you know she took a P&Y bear?). I will hunt with her anywhere!

Ahh, thanks Will :) The pity hole is just overflowing with love right now. The whole "Look, it's snow" thing still gets me every time. I wish someone would have taken a picture of the utter confusion that had clouded my face. It was one of those "duh" moments for sure. Will did send me home with some very nice aquas though and a bunch of fun memories.

The bear hunting experience was something I will never forget. To get that bear was something I never thought would happen nor was I expecting it to. I tried talking Whip into coming up to spot and stalk one with me but I don't think he's going to. I think he's scared, haha! Kidding ;)

I usually lose points for the WRX cause it's not a big lifted up truck but it gets me where I need to go. Not for hunting obviously, that's where dad comes in handy ;)

Hopefully by next September I will be all over the place so maybe I'll see ya down there in CO :)

    Dave,

Just got off the phone with the Border Patrol. I notified them of your arrival...
Sorry dude, you're now on the "Top Ten Terrorists" list. LOL..

    Jessica,

I would really like it if you would to come hunt with us next year. Just saying, a nice looking taxidermist like yourself might end up with more work than you can handle. Moreover, can you imagine all the sobbery, drooling bafoons packing out your elk? You wouldn't hafta lift a finger! That would be nice...maybe you could work your magic and have them pack out mine too? LOL....

    Great to have you here!

    Hey Stevie,

They're not sterling but they are yours. Will this work (sorry, the bear is a tad out of focus)?

    Cowboy Dave,

LOL... packing yours? When will you ever have the time to hunt? Last time, if I remember correctly, you spent a heck of a lot of time chasing your own tail. LOL...bloody ell, you know I will help you-unless of course you desire to become the designated beer and pizza boy! Wait...we would starve to death waiting for the pizzas to show! Some poor lad in New Mexico would have a whole mess of cold pizzas.

Can't wait for ya to get here! LOL...

That would be fantastic! I'm all about learning new places to hunt and making new hunting buddies. The more taxidermy work I can have the better :) It's gonna be me and my dad running the business so we'll take on as much as we can! I'd love to have my entire elk packed out too but I wouldn't let you guys take it all. I'd have to carry as much as I could. Ya don't kill something and then not be able to take care of it. I actually broke up with my boyfriend last year because he started to dress out my deer. I was like, "DUDE, what are you DOING?!?" I could definitely have a pack team arranged before I ever got there, though, haha!

Well, not yet. I'm going to school this November with my dad and we will be opening a shop shortly thereafter. I do know a thing or two about it though, so I could answer some questions. Thanks for checkin out my site! Check back in a few days. I should have the portraits I did of an elk and a deer posted.
