    If you go the Sitka route make sure it's not The "fluffy fleece" outerwear.. Burr and hitchhiker magnet.. Its near impossible to get them out. Fanatic and Equinox line are the one's I've found that pick up the least amount.

    I do agree with sticking with the First Lite base layers. Merino wool is the way to go IMO

    I would go with minus 33 for base layers. All the quality and a little less money. They have a full line of merino wool from light to expedition weight. For outer wear I am loving my new fanatic bibs. It is my first sitka piece so I can't say how durable it is, but it's warm. The pockets are the most well thought out I have ever seen, to the point I quit carrying a pack on most my hunts.
