Looking to get a new top of the line bow. I have no brand loyalty toward any company. I have been looking mainly at Hoyt, Mathews, Obession, and Bowtech. I am not looking to start a brand war on this thread. I want your honest opinion. I am tall and have a longer dfaw length. If you would like to post a picture of your setup that would be awesome. I want to know why you picked what you did/pros and cons. All help is much appreciated.

You're going to get this reply about 30 times... Shoot all brands/models and choose the one that feels the best to you.

Goods luck! Post pics when you finally pull the trigger. Don't let anyone make up your mind but you.

Imo you're going to shoot better w a less radical bow. Everyone seems wants the new craze bow. The craze starts w marketing. Someone is trying to get your money so be suspect n going into w no preconceived ideas is best. Shooting a bunch of bows also is good advice but as stated get a shoot able bow. Good luck

Check out the elite impulse.. It is capable of 30" draw and 80# weight and I love it. Top of the line bow for sure

As has been suggested, shoot a lot of them until you find what works best for you. As for me, it only took shooting an Elite Energy one time and I was hooked. Smoothest bow I've ever shot. By the way, welcome to the forums fellow Hoosier!

    Blessings.........Pastorjim

have you shot any of them yet? Do any feel better to you? Depending how long your draw length is PSE might have something made just for you with their freak and beast.

You may want to look at a Perfexion from Xpedition. Longer ATA, you can get it in longer draw lengths (mines only at 28.5" for me), lots of ways to fine tune it, and has pretty respectable speed to it considering the long ATA and 7" brace height. The downside is there's not a ton of Xpedition dealers and depending on the hunting you do the long ATA might not be what you like.

Before you buy the old standby brands, try out some of the newer entries......Prime, Xpedition, and Obsession. I've been shooting Primes with the parallel cam design since early 2013 and they are tack drivers, as well as pretty bullet proof in the woods for reliability.

If it hadn't of been for my bow being used 6 months then put up for sale by the original owner I'd have likely gone with a Prime Rival. Very smooth and dead in the hand. Prime has some very nice bows in their line!
