I just came in from doing some shooting getting ready to head back down to Illinois Friday and while practicing i came across something kinda funny. I know we shoot with our camo on to get ready and we shoot with our gloves on to get ready, but while shooting just now I was hitting full draw and doing my ERP to stop a buck and then shooting. It was making it feel real has anybody else ever practiced this?? Walt
I haven't done that but if the old saying, "practice like you play" means anything then maybe I should be doing that also.
I do it. Also act like you are moving with the deer prior to the eerppp by panning right or left with your bow, then eeeerpp....then shoot. I am a big fan of practicing like you play and I actually have an invention that would help bowhunters out in this regard. To bad I suck at engineering or designing things......
