I don't know how to break this to y'all gently, so I guess I'll just come right out and tell you straight forward. I just now had a call and found out that evidently I didn't make it through the stroke 2 saturdays ago. It was an elderly neighbor lady who saw the lights come up the drive on the 18th. She asked around through her social circle and church to see what happened and someone told her I died. She was calling here today to see if there was anything she could do to help. So, evidently I have been just stringing you guys along for the past 11 days. Either that, or the hospital just didn't want to be the ones to tell me that I didn't make it. Sorry. Actually, I feel sorry for the 74 year old lady who got this news and having lost a son and husband was willing to help a grieving widow. I DO NOT feel sorry for my wife who still does not get to spend the insurance money.
She would just spend it on Packers stock. You're like Mark Twain now, the rumors of your demise have been greatly exaggerated.
hmm so your dying in one thread and dead in another maybe we should start a pool here ? But really glad your ok If you put up you name and address maybe some of the guys on here would like to send you a get well card.
Man, could you have played some tricks on that poor lady.... (ie. lay 1/2 burried in your front yard)
UM, I get dibs on August 21st, 2057! As far as address, the support on here is sufficient. If cards started arriving, I'm sure the mailman would escalate the rumor from my death to a murder-suicide. lol
Dang.... and I had some nice things planned to say about him. Coming up with them now would probably seem phony so I'll just give him a RIP. Dang boys.... he was so young and vibrant. LOL
Good thing the lady called instead of just knocking on the door to she if she could be of help. At 74 it might be quiet a shock when a dead guy opens the door !! Tim
So sorry... you're going to have to go through the Apocolypse with the rest of us in December... Good luck.
Sorry Brother, but when I got the news yesterday I was a little shocked too. Then, as usual, time to have fun.
