..but they really suck... woman's basketball that is. In a moment of weakness I tuned into ESPN to catch a couple minutes of woman's basketball. My God.... wouldn't the world be better off without it? Uncoordianted, slow, sloppy and down right unentertaining. LOL It's like slow motion spass-clutze. Their bodies sijmply do not allow them to play the game we love to the level it should be played. I'd rather watch two Koreans playing ping pong.

I was never a college level basketball player. Not close. But, I played ball with some guys who could REALLy play basketball (former HS all-staters....etc...).

My freshman year, we used to get in pick-up games with the college girls team a lot. Why? Because, it was a great workout for both of us. The games were highly competitive. I would've never thought that possible. But, it was reality.

All that being said......I somewhat reluctantly have to say I agree with David. The women's game (for the most part) is played so far below the rim, that it takes the fun (viewing) factor out of the equation, for ME. Is it still fundamentally sound basketball? Hell yeah. I just have little to no interest in watching it.

The girls can play. I enjoy watching it.

Some people watch it for the entertainment. Others watch it for the love of the sport, so do both.

My Dad coached girls HS bball for 25 years, and was recently inducted in the the IL Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame (shameless plug for the ol' man!). I grew up around it, so my vision may be skewed.

    To each his own!

So what were the teams you were watching? I would think that would make a difference in the leval of play. I don't watch either though.

The politically correct term is table tennis

I pretty much agree. Also you ever notice , unlike a lot of girls sports basketball has all ugly chicks. Even less reason to watch.

Around here we have some of the better girls high school basketball teams in the state and they are a blast to watch. Although some of the boys teams have some great athletes, they don't play like a team should and that is as annoying to me as the "slow" play of the girls is to some of you. By the way, most of you guys would be blown of the ball by those college girls, even girls playing DII. hahahahaha

You tell them, David! Women should stay in the kitchen where they belong.

Sorry Dave, but as far as I see it, the WOMEN usually have better fundamentals, and play the game more like it is SUPPOSED to be played!!!

Much of the men's basketball is STREETBALL vs. good fundamental BASKETBALL, this is why you see VCU and BUTLER making it to the "Final Four." Because both teams play pretty good FUNDAMENTAL basketball!!!

i really dont enjoy watching it either, BUT i think its important for young girls to see the women playing, doing well and having fun. buddy has two girls and i treat em like my own. it tears me up a bit when i see someone telling them what they can/cant do because they are female. not saying thats what you are doing, but when the neighborhood boys dont include em in stuff. different perspectives i guess

The game is supposed to be played slow and below the net?

If only small schools play fundamental basketball, how did UConn and Kentucky make it?

    BTW, you scream too much.

In fact MGH, take any one of my wife's starting five in highschool and they would blow the majority of grown men off the ball, and some of them are only 15 yrs old. LOL

Both parts of this run-on sentence are untrue.
