    Emu's are curious critters. You can often get them to come in by hiding in long grass and waving your hat just above the grass so they can see it. I was told that if you lay on your back and pretend you are riding a bicycle with your legs in the air they'll come in but I'll stick to waving the hat. They make a deep drumming noise in their throats and I have managed to 'call' one in replicating that. We cant hunt them but just come across them when hunting from time to time. Once had one bed next to my tent (literally 1m away) during the night while i was out hunting. I dont know who got more of a fright when I got out for a piss in the morning.
