Great story. As a democrat I have no problem with people who have the right to bear arms doing so anywhere and anytime. Just because the president was there shouldn't make any difference. The thing that burns me is the guy from Washington mentioned people having loaded weapons. No where in that story did it say the guns were loaded. You just can't assume anything. Those people were trying to PEACEFULLY make a statement. It shouldn't matter whether or not the guns were loaded. Gee, does this mean I have to give up my liberal card?
What good is an empty gun... I mean... If my guns are empty they generally have smoke coming out of the action and barrel...:D

I know an empty gun isn't any good. What I was commenting on is the fact the media was blowing it way out of proportion by stating these folk brought "loaded" guns to a town hall meeting. These guns were NOT loaded. Whether or not I agree with what happened these people were within their rights to carry their guns. I don't care if they were loaded or not. It is their right. Saying they were loaded was wrong and just fear mongering.
