Actually it would have been cool to see you cape out the deer. I am mostly referring to splitting the lips and eyelids, and fleshing the hide ... maybe you haven't done that yet?

Way to give it try man. Take your time and good luck and if you make a mistake don't be to hard on yourself. Learn from it and go on, you'll be okay.

    Blessings......Pastorjim

Yeah I didnt get pics of the caping, just one after I already did. Im fleshing today, splitting lips, eyes, nose and turning ears and starting the tan. I am filming in short burst so if all goes well you might get to see some of that T :)

Thanks for the encouragemant guys! If I told you it has been easy I would be a liar! Its starting to look like something, its not perfect but its my first time. I know things that will make it alot easier next time,,live and learn. Its in the rough right now, still have to staple and trim the hide on the back of the manikin. Will have to keep up with the ears adjustment as it dries as well as the eyes, theres still detail work to do like painting and such. Its getting closer, im tired and its late..night night!

Looks good. One tip to keep the ears in place is to stick the needle/thread through one spot and tie to the main beam.

Hey thank you, tip taken, right now I have a thin stiff wire running through the canal, I think string would work better. will do when I get home!

    Looking good crick.

Just keep up with the drying. Stuff does move, stretch and open up as it dries. Good luck.
