Hey everyone, I'm dan and this forum, bow hunting and hunting in general are pretty much new to me. I'm on subs in the navy and it's coming time for me to rotate to shore duty soon and at the behest of a friend who is an avid bow hunter, I've decided I really want to get into the sport. I haven't had time in the past several years due to sea duty and being gone a lot but that'll be changing for me soon as I will be stationed in Connecticut for the next three years. Ive been hunting before when I was younger in Montana and in Oregon but for the most part I don't have much experience. Bow hunting drew my interest mostly due to the added challenge and it's something I've wanted to for many years. It's a little intimidating getting involved in the sport with no experience but I figured a good way to start would be these forums.
