Ya know I was thinking the same thing. It almost (actually did) screw me out of a nice buck (seeing what's on cam). There are a couple creatures out there still roaming around and maybe I'll see one.... maybe I won't. I don't want to get caught up in it anymore. If I can kill a buck like this or last year .... every year I'll be happy. Someone posted something about holding out for the "monarch" (shed I think). That morning I was holding out for the monarch. That afternoon? Screw the monarch lol. Tomorrow fo shizzle... been a crazy week.
Congrats again. It is funny you guys mention a picture keeping you from dropping the string when you knwo you should. I have let quite a few walk the last couple years that should never walk down here because I have a few studs on camera. When I say walk, I mean in range, looking away and good angle. Congrats again and I cannot wait for the better pictures. He looks as if he has a ton of character, not to mention alot of bone as well.
