Every year I try to post this around the time of his death. Paul Schafer died at the age of 44 on Jan 18 1993. I just read the book a few months ago that I had been waiting to be finished for about 10 years. The book is simply titled Silvertip. It's about Paul and written by Bob Windauer. Anyways, I don't think there has ever been a man that held a bow that could could come close to Paul. I wish that I could sit at a fire place and listen to him tell stories. This is an annual tribute to the greatest bowhunter nobody ever really knew. Enjoy.
