Just seeing what crowd has for recommendations. Have a buddy from Louisiana coming up this fall looking to hunt public ground and asked for options. Having not really hunted public ground just seeing where others have had success. I could only recommend places around me, west central, so just seeing what other areas are like. I'm in central part of the state. What area you looking for? I'm game for helping a guy out. I got a couple spots on public I swear by. One is a doe/small buck spot. Really don't think there's much of a preference. They're just looking for some spots that would be productive and have a chance to fill a tag. Don't think have really anywhere picked out for sure. He's a buddy I was in Marines with and just asked what I would recommend. Unfortunately, or fortunate for me, I've always had private ground to hunt and only really know of places around me in Adams or Pike county. So was trying to get some ideas further than what I'm familiar with. He did say they were looking at central to west central areas of the state but didnt really have anything narrowed down.
