Quick question. In Illinois, does anyone know if it Is legal for me to possess/buy 2 archery either sex tags and a shotgun either sex even though I can only fill 2 buck tags? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Of course I plan on following the laws. I would prefer to tag out in October and keep my toes warm during November... Maybe it was user error but the lady at Walmart said she wasn't able to sell me 2 archery combo tags... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
She was wrong. I just had a lady at Basspro tell me the same, I told her to try it and it went through.
I just bought a combo and turkey 5 min ago. asked the associate about it. he said the way the states system is set up with the paper that the tags print on you would have to make 2 transactions. but Feb might have proved that wrong too
You cannot buy TWO archery combo tags for yourself... because that would give you TWO archery buck tags. You can buy ONE archery combo tag and then buy as many anterless tags as you want...
Well there you go. New Hunt Trap Digest 2016-17 are online. PG 16 Resident Permits and Limits Resident antlerless-only and combination archery deer permits can be purchased without limit from your local hunting license vendor. Resident hunters may apply for only one of the single either-sex permits on paper applications printed from Aug. 1-Sept. 1 (www. dnr. illinois.gov) with an application deadline of September 1. (see Deer Bag Limit, page 14) Deer Bag Limit pg 14. No hunter, regardless of the quantity or type of permits in his/her possession, may harvest more than two antlered deer during a year, including the youth, archery, muzzleloading and firearm seasons.
Negative Greggo, I have 2 sitting on my desk as well as a gun tag. You're allowed 2 bucks, so if you kill 2 bucks with the bow, you cannot shoot one during any other season. I'm talking about residents also, BTW
