I'm not having the best of luck with deer/buck sightings so far this year. I have seen mainly the same deer several times with some buck activity just now showing up, rubs etc. found a large nine point dead with no visible signs of injury in the middle of woods near a creek. Nervous about blue tongue hitting our area. Just wondering if anyone near Livingston county Illinois is experiencing the same thing with regards to minimal activity or blue tongue.
Should also mention that I have seen 2 of the largest bucks while in stand this year, which is crazy. Usually I'm used to seeing several young bucks and several doe fawn sets. Just not seeing as many this year so far
I hunt between PONTIAC and streator.
