Alright Kristine, Johnwb82 and I will be hitting the road at 5:30 on our way down. I will have on my black Bowhunting.com vest and a bowhunt or die hat. If you see me be sure to stop me. And you can't miss Kristine with all her long blonde curly hair.
Arrived at the show shortly after 9. Couldn't believe how small it was this year. I spent way more time in the car then I did the show. Guess this will be my last trip to the IL show. Very disappointing.
It was better than last year, but still disappointing. I agree with you there. Might have to make arrangements to check out a different show next year.
My wife and I had a good weekend in Springfield, but the show pretty much sucked. Very few mounts, and alot of the vendors were a stretch to be considered hunting related. This was the first time I'd been in 4 years and I'd say it was half the size of the last show I attended. I probably won't be going back next year.
Had a lot of fun with my family. It's not a huge show, but it's nice to get out and see a couple new things. The archery deer I got this year won first place in its category. Always nice to get to Scheels too.
Congrats FB. We didnt make it to Scheels this weekend. I spend half of today at Kohls. Payback for the wife spending the day at the classic I guess lol.
Congrats buddy! I wanted to go to Scheels yesterday on the way home but didn't. Heard its a great store Sent from my iPhone 5S using Tapatalk
Congrats FB, sucks didn't get to make it. Guess that'll teach me to try amd do some work before goin. Ended up slipping a track off skidsteer and spending all day working on that. Scheels is always a good place to stop.
This was the first year I wasn't there in many, many years. I wonder if they got anybody to run the kids' archery booth?
It was downstairs. I saw a few kids in there shooting. Didn't recognize anybody that was with em tho. Missed seeing you this year Christine sent from old school can and string
Still not gonna go. Waste of time and money! Better off driving to Madison! Sent from my iPhone 5S using Tapatalk
Will say without a doubt Peoria was way better then Springfield was but it didn't even come close to the Madison show. The drive to Madison is actually closer then both of the other two anyways so just makes sense to go north. Only reason I went this year to IL was because I had nothing else to do with all this snow on the ground.
