Unfortunately, bowhunting is not legal in Norway due to a law which states that the flying projectile must be powered by gunpowder. However, we have a Bowhunting Federation who have tried to change this law for many years. Some politicians have a positive attitude towards bowhunting, but the animal rights activists, our own “Peta” continues to spread false information about the effectiveness and accuracy of a compound bow. The result of this is that most people in Norway think that the animal will suffer for a long time, and eventually die from pain. If you would like to support our federations goal in making bowhunting legal in Norway, we would be very thankful for members on our Facebook groups, and contributions to a civilized discussion with rational and logical arguments, as many skeptics are commenting there. Show the accuracy of modern archery tackle. Do you have 3D tournaments in Norway? Invite politicians to observe one and see how accurate a bow can be. Challenge the "rights" groups to provide scientific proof to back up their claims.
Good luck guys! new tech can be very accurate i've seen people heart shot a deer at 70 yards ( I would not recommend trying it though )
