I'd never leave America. I've traveled enough to know how great we really are but if I had to, New Zealand.
I'm surprised by some of the answers. I would enjoy hunting some of the places mentioned, but not ever living anywhere else. Lots of the places listed would not allow you to own guns like you do now, if they even allowed it. I would think that would put many in this group off, no? It does me. I enjoy the freedoms I have left far too much. I'm a clinger.
I love Australia... been all over it but my favorite is around Darwin. I would also consider New Zealand, Western Canada, Costa Rica. The best hunting I have ever had was in Guam of all places. Pigs and deer everywhere. The best fishing was in Panama.
I stopped at a roadhouse somewhere in Queensland once and ordered a steak. The waitress asked me how I wanted it and I said I didn't really care. Well they brought me a steak that was so tough I could barely cut it, let alone chew it. After a while, she asked how I like it and I said "it tastes great... just a little chewy." Then I heard this big ol guy who looked like Donk from Crocodile Dundee laughing his butt off behind me. He had given me "Roo Steak," as a joke. After the joke, he cooked me a real nice and tender T-bone, medium rare that was incredible... no charge. Great fun. They kept wanting me to talk because of my quite southern accent. They kept teasing me about not drinking "beeah."
Having only left the country once in my life and not currently owning a passport, my choices are based solely on tv, reading, internet etc. I'd probably pick New Zealand or Austrailia. Possibly Argentina or Chile.
Thats a hard one. I guess Canada, but heck PA already has to long of a winter, more North just means less fishing. Only other place to bass fish other then Mexico, and I really dont think I would move there!
