2012 Elk camp = count me in Will . Matt , I had too much going on this year to apply for preference points in the unit I wanted , but will be back in Co hunting last years Unit with a Mule deer tag and Elk tag in tow .
Another reason to hunt the Gila, the terrain isn't gonna kill ya...good for those flatlander, fill in, hunters at elk camp.
I don't mind that terrain that much as long as it's "passible." I got into an area in 2005 that wasn't passible, thought I was gonna sneak down into a creek bed when I walk out to a 100+ foot cliff.... That'll change your plan in an INSTANT!!! The maps did NOT show a cliff in that spot at all, but there wasn't any way in hell I was going UP or DOWN that damned thing!!! Rob, PM coming your way....
