I think Wisconsin's economy is in the gutter and I sure wouldn't give Walker a chance to do the same to the entire country.
Some republicans would be far worse than her for hunting. Many republicans want to give federal lands back to states and the states can't afford them so they are going to sell them and log it or farm it. No more elk hunting... No more public land. Paul Ryan wanted to log the Rocky Mountains. That's the one down side with many republicans Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Google Wisconsin and Economy. I'm not making this stuff up. Find articles written by Wisconsin newspapers.
Just the thought process of people that think the federal government knows best just plain blows my mind. Most federally owned lands black holes for tax payers. Let the states manage the land the best way they know how. This article actually shows how several states are able to turn small profits on lands they manage, while the federal government loses money on them. Every state has an incentive to keep the more pristine areas just that, but there are millions of acres of federal land that isn't doing any one any good. Most states conservation departments know how to better manage the land than the federal government. I just don't understand why people have so much faith in people working for the federal government. Blows my mind. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/jul/10/editorial-returning-land-to-its-owners/
Just say no to Donald. It'll be Jesse Ventura on a national scale. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I guess I'm not familiar with what you are talking about. I know that 80% of the land in Nevada is Federally owned.
Wisconsin media is ran by liberals who hate any republican and the story is told by half truths. Now take out Milwaukee and Madison out of those numbers and the rest of the state is economically stable or thriving. Anybody who would bring a business to Milwaukee is in for more headaches and bureaucracy then it's worth along with no government services poor infrastructure it's no wonder why the most populated city in Wisconsin is failing economically.
I misspoke. The thing I read was just a proposal but Nevada BLM land has been sold in the past. Albeit it may be smaller amounts, how can you trust the state when there already has been proposals to sell off land. When it's sold, there goes access to hunters and others.
I don't know if you have ever hunted BLM land, I have not but I've put in a bunch of research on it. Much of that land is not accessible to hunt anyways. You have to have direct public access to hunt it, and much of it is surrounded by private land owners. You have to get permission from those landowners to trespass on their property to access the BLM land. Many will not grant access or will only do so with a trespass fee. There's also what they call checker board land, which is exactly what is sounds like. Blocks of land in a checker board pattern, it rotates between public and private land just like the checkerboard. This land is basically worthless for recreation because you have the same access issue as much other BLM land. Each state understands the value of land management and recreational opportunities. Would some of the land be sold of to private interests, I'm sure it would. Others would be managed for renewable resources and other would be set aside for recreation opportunities. Just like the states do already.
On about 80% of core issues, I'd stand with Rand. However, if on the day after the Election Day either Rand Paul or any Dem is Prez-Elect; that is the day Israel bombs Iran and WW3 begins.
The Poe amendment if it had passed would have be a disaster for sportsman and anyone that values public access to land for recreational use. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Really after the clown show Jesse put on when he had to actually put the effort into being a gov? He is too thin skinned and narcissistic for national office.
