I honestly don't think it really matters. There's not enough time or good enough person who can get the gaggle of whack-a-doodle numb nuts that is our House and Senate to undo all the crap that's been done to our country in the past 50 years. The immediate things that need fixed are the tax code, cutting ALL foreign aid, getting rid of all illegal aliens, and repealing Obamacare. Rand Paul and Ted Cruz seem to be the only ones who have the guts to stand up to both the rats and rinos but if they cant get the House or Senate to do anything then it won't even matter. What matters is whether the military would side with us in the event of a coup/revolution/civil war (whatever might happen), which I could see happening at the rate our country is going.
I am leaning this way as well...however there is something to be said voting for a governor not a rep/senator...at least governors have experience running something. I AM HUGE FAN OF RAND'S tax ideas.
I don't see The Donald taking a back seat to anybody...and Paul's got a pretty nasty streak when he gets riled up. Too much clashing b/t those two to run as a team.
I know...I can't believe it either, lol. I wouldn't trust the donald as far as I could throw his smug a**.
I think the main attraction is that he is not a politician. Personally, I'm sick and tired of career politicians that live in their own fantasy world running this country. I think he's a bit of a tool and completely over the top, but at least he's hasn't been massaging a political career his whole life. All the politicians are bought and payed for, so we know they aren't interested in whats best for the country, but what's best for those that have paved the way for them.
He's always been a politician that's just not in politics in a formal way. Trump has always been "in it" for whatever is best for Donald, sometimes that aligns with what's also best for the nation but the problem is when it doesn't he's ruthless and unscrupulous enough to not give a damn about anything else. Folks better be careful what they wish for, his go get it done tude will be agreeable as long as people see it in their favor but apply that same attitude to deciding to raise taxes, cutting benefits or declaring war and it'll be a vastly different story. Trump is every bit as smug as Obama, he just doesn't have as devious a character. I don't think he's a socialist muslim sympathizer at least.
To say voting for Hillary one does not care about is an ignorant comment. I bet many people who vote for Hillary care, just not what same ideals you may have. Bill did pretty good For me, it's Rand Paul. The rest of them are god awful No love for Bernie?
That's probably true, but at least he has accomplished some impressive things in his life. Totally unlike candidate Obama who had accomplished absolutely nothing in his life before the democrats tagged him as electable.
He inherited one of the largest real estate firms in NYC. It's not like he built it from scratch. I guess you can give him credit for expanding it and creating his persona for other endeavors, but he is hardly a self made businessman that he tries to make himself.
So I guess graduating from Columbia, and Harvard Law school is not an accomplishment? I disagree with the man a lot, but he has accomplished many things in his life. He was a teacher and a civil rights attorney. He was a Senator for his state, and a US Senator. His resume before 2008 is the exact same as Ted Cruz, even Cruz was not born in America
