My three best bucks are 10-12 pointers.

I would really like to get a big eight one day.

But I wouldn't complain about anything that would go 150+ :moose:

    1. Am hunting more for age of the deer now versus inches of antler...unless the freezer is empty. Give me a 4.5+ year old buck with 120" and I am happy.
    2. Drop-tine...have always wanted to harvest one. In the '08 WI season a gun hunter on an adjacent property shot one that was headed my way per the hunter.
    3. OK, I am going to contradict myself here....a 150"+ 8 pointer would be freakin' cool regardless of his age, but I would just guess that he would need to be at least 3.5 or older. More likely to be 4.5 years or older so he would qualify for my #1.

My buddies buck would be perfect, a huge framed 8 that grossed 159-6/8 and netted 154-6/8 [IMG]

This guy would be fine for my first bow buck. I would be happy to have him on my wall. I was super excited to see him on camera finally. He is a big guy for our area.

Yea Greg, especially because this isn't a farmland buck, this was a big woods buck that never saw a crop field. It was shot in Elk County, PA and from what we have found it should be around the top 5 typicals for that county all-time.

I want a big wide perfectly symmetrical 10. If it's not too much to ask, give it matching split brows to bump it to a 12.
