If you could be POTUS for one day and make three irrevocable changes to gov't/laws, what would they be? Mine: 1. End Federal influence in education (common core); 2. Place term limits with no retirement benefits on all legislative, executive personnel; and 3. Limit spending to no more than 75% of what the government takes in.
Tricky. I don't know if I have thought this through all the way but here it is. 1: If there is government funded project that does not generate profit that is intended to, canceled. Ie, postal service. Let someone privatize it and make money and then pay taxes to the government. 2. Put a even tax percentage on all people of all income levels with the only exemptions for people living in low level poverty on single incomes. 3. 1. Term limits with no special benefits for all elected officials and they must follow the laws they pass for us to follow. 2. Flat tax with no deductions for everyone. 3. No lobbyists allowed to influence political decisions.
1. Term limits of two terms. Once you have completed two terms, ( congressional pay will equal that of a deployed E-5) you can have a small pension, but you go back to the civilian population and earn like the rest of us. 2. No more entitlements! If you want something, go earn it! 3. We are America, the greatest country on earth. It's about time we acted like it.
