Frankly, I can't believe that no one has mentioned the King. (or for that matter, he hasn't mentioned himself:)

Rob Swanson...He hasn't made the big screen yet (regularly), but he's an up and comer. I wish I had his restraint.

I could also hunt everyday with Jared Bloomgren. This man has the uncanny ability to find critters...big critters! Here's a few links:

Jared and I have shared a few hunts together. It's amazing watching him go about his business. He's young but I guarantee he has two life times worth of experience packed inside his head.

    In no particular order

    Dwight Schuah
    Chuck Adams
    Jim Shockey
    Fred Eichler for fun...
Uncle Ted just because he's a nut and has fun

I can't believe all you people falling for these food plot fanatics with their private lands, unlimited budgets and glitz. I want to hunt with a hunter....not a shooter. Honestly, what do you think you can learn from Lokosky and the food plot boys other than how to raise a crop. Give me a guy who can be set down in a woods anywhere and perform. Hell, most of these TV stars never set foot in an unknown woods and wouldn't. They'd starve. And with Tigers bank roll.... even I could succeed. LOL

I don't think Shockey, Fred, or the ax thrower himself are hunting just "anywhere" and getting it done. Hunters, yes. Magic men, no. No one IMO, can get it done anywhere consistantly, at least not in the manner you're talking of.

"Duke Micheals ". that is the first name I thought of, but as far as a professional, the Benoit brothers could sure teach me alot about northeast hunting, and also Hal Blood.

People like the ones you are mentioning don't just wake up one morning and decide to become a superstar hunter. They do have to work at it, a hell of a lot harder than you give them credit for. Sure, their shows can get boring to some of us, more the die hard bowhunting crowd. But you take any average joe off the street and their shows are the epiphany of hunting. Why go the hard way to make a show that will produce as much money and fans as the easier route.

I'm not saying I like most the fanboy leaders, I love hunting hard out west. However, they did have to bust their ass to get there. You to take it all with a grain of salt. Even Chuck Adams and Randy Ulmer are sell-outs. Uncle Ted is the biggest walking advertisement of them all.

Obviously you haven't read or followed any of Chucks story over the years. Obviously you don't know who Dwight is. Obviously you don't know who I am. LOL

Just a short, not up to date recap of Chuck. I think Chuck has shown he can do it again and again and again... with no fences, food plots or high fives.

Chuck was the first archer to complete the "Super Slam" - the taking of all 27 species of North American big game. He has also bagged 111 Pope & Young record-book trophies and 181 Safari Club International records, more than anyone else in history. Chuck is the only bowhunter to complete five Grand Slams on American deer, and hold five Pope & Young World Records. At age 50, he is the youngest archer ever inducted into the National Bowhunters Hall of Fame and SCI Bowhunters Hall of Honor.

I was almost ready to cave and call Chuck the second coming like everyone else, then he hired an agent that let him say that shooting a certain BH was like throwing an ax through an animal. Nah, he's not a sell out.

Really I do understand.... I envy myself everytime I think about those glorious Oklahoma days when I rolled with the chief of hunting and all things krunk.

Before I met Diamond Don women used to point at me and laugh.... Call me mean names and throw stuff at me. Since I have hunted with Mr. Diamond I cannot keep the ladies off of me. Now all they throw at me is their Victoria Secrets.... As crazy as it may sound, it's true... I owe everything to Diamond Don!

    Thanks Don! :nana:

Scott, that's definitely not the answer I was looking for but I'd share camp with you again way before any of the others. And Mobow is HUNTING, not tracking through the thorns :D

And how fitting is it that the road to the lease is called Diamond Rd.?

To answer my own question... Brad Farris, Michael Waddell, David Blanton.
