For one I can't stand the smell of the ****! I don't hang around people who smoke it but when I've been around when people have I ask them kindly to smoke it some where else. Yes drunks are annoying but so are some of these people who've been smoking it for years. Some are just plain old dumb. I can usually pick out a pot head quite easily.
I know plenty of people that are regular smokers that you would never be able to pick out. Lawyers, doctors, vets, engineers, etc. Daily smokers.
I agree Max. But, my point was simply that you seemed terribly misinformed about pot and I thought it was important that you understand how serious of a drug it really can be. Alcohol and cigarettes are an entire different conversation. Keep up the good work in school.
There's side effects to everything you do, like drinking soda everyday. Why it should be legalized is because it's our body. As adults, we should be able to decide what we put into it. The typical potheads that people point out are not potheads, they're just losers that happen to smoke pot.
wait a min now... I have not smoked it in almost 30 years but do have a good bit of experience in the past... There is absolutely nothing wrong with casual pot smoking but like many other things it can be abused and as far as being addictive out of the 1000s of folks I have encountered in my life not one was addicted. I do believe it is possible for someone who has a addictive nature, but I have yet to meet anyone that was.. I myself smoked it every day from the time I was 18 till about 22 and one day I quit cold turkey and never looked back..

Cigarettes are not a mind altering drug. Alcohol has an entirely different list of dangers. Weed supporters have always used the comparisons as a crutch. I don't buy into it. I think the addictive, abusive, and destructive characteristics of all of them are the only real similarity. But, even those are unique to each substance. Each stands on its own.
When I relapse cause I havent smoked weed in a week ill let everyone know lol Why is it that if you smoke weed you're a pothead? Is anyone who drinks beer an alcoholic?
No...not for me. tried it a few times when i was in my teens and early 20's, and it always affected me weird. I would take 2 hits and be stoned for the next 8 hours, I even threw up once. definately not my thing.
I said I wouldn't because when I was younger I smoked A LOT of pot. And honestly it (and the rest of the dumb **** I did) made me a waste of a person. After my wife got pregnant with my oldest I left all that stuff behind and have been much better off.
