I'm almost 40 and have never tried it. Cheap, legal and it wouldn't cost me my job? Yeah, I think I would...
Like mentioned by Hooker it would depend on my works view of it and that would probably be against. So in the interest of keeping my job I would likely not smoke. I would rather use it than drink or take prescription drugs(for pain) and do think it's funny there is such a negative view of it but alcohol & pills are good to go.
well...I don't drink any mass marketed beer either but don't you think that if weed became legal nationally, that it would get the same treatment? that eventually it would become mass marketed and get tons of additives to help the high or become more efficient for both the user and the producer?
Modern marijuana is a far cry from its wild form. It is often grown from clones, in chemicals, and never sees the sun. I would consider growing it as a cash crop if it became legal.
Nope. Same with cigs. Don't want anything to do with them. I do have a beer every once in a while though.
They would never add any additives because pure THC is the most lethal. Most people don't even smoke tree anymore, its all about oil and wax. Its made with Butane which could be an additive but, when done correctly almost 99.9% of the butane is removed. Most of the chemicals used to grow are just nutrients that indoor plants don't get from the sun. Even these chemicals are flushed out before harvest, and if they aren't it is pretty much a loss in crop.
Guess again Max. I know you are young and I think its important that you understand how wrong you are. Plenty of people have been addicted to pot. Ask anyone in the health care industry. Plenty of people have died doing stupid stuff while high. So, in a way, yes it has killed. The cancer causing chemicals in pot smoke are 50 to 70 percent higher than in cigarette smoke. It also has been proven to alter brain development in people clear up into their 20's. Here are a few other reasons you might find interesting that you can easily find by doing a little research. SHORT-TERM EFFECTS Sensory distortion Panic Anxiety Poor coordination of movement Lowered reaction time After an initial “up,” the user feels sleepy or depressed Increased heartbeat (and risk of heart attack) LONG-term effects of marijuana Reduced resistance to common illnesses (colds, bronchitis, etc.) Suppression of the immune system Growth disorders Increase of abnormally structured cells in the body Reduction of male sex hormones Rapid destruction of lung fibers and lesions (injuries) to the brain could be permanent Reduced sexual capacity Study difficulties: reduced ability to learn and retain information Apathy, drowsiness, lack of motivation Personality and mood changes Inability to understand things clearly
As far as processing and growing never heard of anyone getting e-coli from smoking. As far as the cumulative effects of smoking how is it different from booze. I have seen very few pot studies that looked at moderate use. Lung damage? Working fire and inhaling smoke we were told that the benzopirenes (butchered spelling) would be flushed out of our system, and the Gov't wouldn't lie to us right?
Doing stupid stuff while high can certainly get you killed. Should have put in my post that I'd still not do it. I'm a straight A student and an athlete so I need to consent to random drug tests on a regular basis. No way would I screw up a bright future with a stupid mistake. But one could also make the argument that alcohol and cigarettes are addictive and you can do stupid things that can get you killed while drunk. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It can be used to treat Glaucoma It may help reverse the carcinogenic effects of tobacco and improve lung health. It can help control epileptic seizures. It also decreases the symptoms of a severe seizure disorder known as Dravet's Syndrome. CBD's A chemical found in marijuana stops cancer from spreading. It may decrease anxiety, depending on user and strain of Marijuana THC slows the progression of Alzheimer's disease. The drug eases the pain of multiple sclerosis. It lessens side effects from treating hepatitis C and increases treatment effectiveness It relieves arthritis discomfort It keeps you skinny and helps your metabolism Or we can keep taking pills and have all the plastic casings ball up in our stomach!
I would like to see the "Why or why not?" responses added - Interesting to see what everyone's views are on the topic.
this is it a morality thing? if weed had always been legal, would you feel the same way? I think the stigma that weed has carried for so long affects a lot of peoples opinions on this
a lot of folks said they smoked when they were younger but didn't like it..... you obviously didn't smoke good weed....lol
