would that stop you? :D I know it may be a little far fetched but I'm just curious as to everyone's answer. "Hell no" is my answer!
It would stop me from trying to kill the deer. I certainly will never stop going afield just just to watch, photograph and appreciate the whitetail deer.
I would have to drop out of college as my chosen field is Wildlife Biology. I plan to work in conservation. I would continue to go afield. Shed hunting would be my only thing to help my addiction!
Wouldn't stop me, but I dont think it will be outlawed but it might be priced to the point where people can't afford to hunt or fish.
The law says I can't shoot a dumbass that is dangerous to others and I abide by that law even though I don't want to, if hunting was not legal I would abide by that law even though I did not want to.
I would abide or move somewhere that I could. If it ever happened, it would only take two years of no hunting to make them change their minds. There would be deer everywhere.
No, but my list of animals to kill would longer after I added the people who outlawed hunting to it. Then I'd move cause this country would be a total disaster if they actually were able to get that done
You know the scary thing about this thread is that there are new laws written on a regular basis that are chipping away at our right to hunt. It's like rolling a pebble down a snow covered mountain. Always starts small, but ends big.
Exactly right. It would be one thing if we were simply over hunting the animal populations and hunting had to be stopped or slowed down to help the animals survive, but when it's a law that has little real justification is when it becomes frustrating. It's hard to say what the future generations will have available for hunting rights.
That just might cause me to commit my first ever criminal act. I would be hard pressed to not hunt on my own land, legal or not. Good question.
And yet, we as hunters always seem to try and limit other hunter's opportunities. No crossbows in archery season, no expanding firearms season to name a couple and the other hunters do the same to us. Ridiculous hunting snobbery.
depends on the situation of the rest of the country... if hunting was outlawed and the country was facing 25% unemployment like the great depression, ya, I think it would be a matter of survival... as with most things in life, I think situation dictates my actions...
