I hunt a few miles from the area you're referring to. While I'm not one to believe they cull deer out of helicopters, they definitely still sharp shoot them in our area. I see more and more signs that landowners are posting on field edges that do not permit the DNR to sharp shoot. It definitely sucks, I hardly ever see a deer every single sit. 10 years ago it was not uncommon to see 6-12 deer every day. While I understand that overpopulation can lead to certain issues, it seems as if they are going a bit over the top with their operations. I would like to see detailed reports about the effectiveness of all of this or at least statistics of the number of CWD confirmed deer per sq mile. I will say though, there are still some nice onces running around
