my brother, brother in law and I found 33 mule deer sheds one day in 4 hours ... by far my best ever on numbers.. whitetails.. 8 in a day , elk 13
How do I get on a team? I usely find a few each year. I also got access to some better land this year so I hope to find plenty.
I have never shed hunted but am looking to learn a ton from you guys this year. I will be shed hunting a bunch this year as a part of my overall off-season work. I can't wait!

I should have read this BEFORE I signed up. Holy cow some of you guys find a lot. I haven't found any where I hunt, but I found 6 where I work last year. I will definately be working harder now. Should be a lot of fun. Will there be a handicap applied to the folks who use dogs?:D
I wouldn't worry about it... some guys find 1 shed all year.. others find 50... its all for fun and getting to know peeps better.
Exactly. I used to find huge #s, now I'll be happy if I find 20 this year. Its all about having a little fun and showing of some, ummmmm.....errrrrr.....ahhhhhh.....bone.

I was kidding about the handicap, lol. I deal w/ golfers all summer and how they try to even the game based on skill, or lack there of, and equipment. It never seems right. I play to have fun and enjoy the time out. The same way I'll be playing here. I normally love the deep snow and want the winter to last as long as possible, but now I'll be looking forward to the snow melting down to reveal some burried bone!
I found 8 in 3 hrs in about 22 acres of timber once. That was my personal best. I've found 3 total in that woods since then...think someone else is beating me to them.
