Ideas for Father's Day

So my wife keeps asking me what I want to do for father's day. I keep saying I don't know. Quite honestly, I would love to just sit in the recliner and relax and hang out. But it seems to me the family (I should say the wife) thinks we NEED to do something.

She suggested the zoo. I told her no way are we going to the zoo when it will be that busy. We won't be the only one with that idea.

So I need ideas. What are you doing for fathers day? What ideas do you have that we should do?

 

I'll be on a plane to Texas for business. Once I arrive in Austin, I have the rest of the day to myself at the hotel!

 

Get her a reservation to a nice hotel for the day/night and go buy yourself a thirty pack. Mission accomplished.

 

Sounds great. But I am going to need to obtain a marketing degree to sell it.

 

I told the wife a nice big fat steak and some homemade fries with a few beers would be just fine for me. I think some friends are coming over too for same idea so it is a very small party! Will probably play some dice or cards all night!

 

I'd tell the wife exactly what I want. You get one or two days a year. If you want to vegetate..... then demand it. LOL The ZOO???? Honestly... the last thing I'd want on father's day. Both of my neices invited me to a cook out. Can't do them both so I'm going to the one that will have one of my brothers in attendance. LOL My son is in Seattle so I won't be seeing him.... I'm sure we'll talk because he's a good boy. LOL Hell, I didn't know it was fathers day until my neices called me yesterday.

 

tell her you want to hang out at your girlfriends house.

 

All I need is a nice cup of coffee in the morning, some General Tso's chicken for lunch, and watching my kids soccer games on Sunday to make it a great Father's Day.

 

I told mine all I want is to relax and have a nice afternoon lunch.

 

i aint no papa, at least my doorbell hasnt rang yet. but if i was i'd want to SIT! happy Dad's Day to all the dads out there.
