But they aren't the ones writing or enforcing the laws. Do you think Native Americans are eager to learn about Christopher Columbus and how great a man he was? A man who wrote about killing many indians for no other reason than to take the land they inhabitited. Are Jewish people exciteed to learn about how Napoleon was a glorious leader? A man who ordered non christians be slaughtered because of their religious beliefs. Don't you think learning about slavery can cause "RESENTMENT TOWARD A RACE OR CLASS OF PEOPLE" for young black people? Stopping this class in Arizona sounds awfully petty. It looks more like a personal agenda, than it does feeling threatened that this class is causing resentment.
