40 westbound was moving along pretty well. Eastbound not so much. I'm over two hrs into a normally 25 min commute. I'm just glad I didn't have to leave my car on the interstate lol. Got about 3 more slow slow miles to go before I'm home.
I left just after 2:45 going to pick my wife up. She had to abandon the car near an office complex. She had to walk about 2.5 miles to get to me because the road was so backed up. We got home around 6:30PM. We have at least 7 inches of snow here and it has been sleeting since 4PM on top of it. The sleet will last until around 3AM. Then change to Freezing rain. We are expecting a couple of more inches of snow tomorrow. Thanks guys for all your prayers. You guys are the best!!
OHHH YEAHHHH! She said she isn't going back until Monday. Her job waited until it started snowing before they let them go. So she isn't happy. I work from home so I am shutting it down until Monday too. We have plenty of food and all the supplies needed if we lose power. We are going to have a LONGG Relaxing Weekend!!
That's good! I wouldn't wanna hafta open up a can on ya :D Anyone hear from Brett? I sent him a text a little bit ago..
