Why would you not keep good sized crappies?

Already have too much fish in the freezer from this year haha. Time to throw the bigger ones back for next year.

There was a city on the ice this afternoon... Word must have gotten out on the spot. Brought home 7 crappies, caught roughly 15 in 3 hours. Beautiful day on the ice. First time taking my girlfriend out... She out fished me.

It ain't over till it's over. Incredible day on the ice chasing jumbo perch in northern MN. Caught well over 200 fish. Biggest coming in at 12" and about 2lbs.

    Thanks bud!

We got out at 730 and it was non stop. We thought it would continue so we were throwing 9" fish back... That didn't happen. Slowed a lot during mid day with tons of small fish. Kicking ourselves now but oh well. Excellent end to the year.
