maybe 2 weeks ago a 30 year old male and his 4 year old son fell through the ice on Alderman Lake here in MI. The son fell in first and dad chased after him, unfortunately they both lost their lives, they were in the water no longer than 5 minutes. Alderman has a couple springs that feed it all year round, plus at that time the weather was around 40 and we had steady rain for a few days. I stopped going out after hearing about this incident and the warm weather. Hopefully this week's low temps will freeze some ice again.

We went out yesterday, good ice and caught a good mess of blue gill, perch and crappie, this nice bass and three small pike on tip ups...a pretty good day.

I absolutely love my Marcum vx-1 pro. Seems like a lesser model but has all the same features of the higher end vexilars for half the price. Check them out! Vexilars are way too loud for me. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

This lake keeps producing fish... Went out last night and caught 100 fish between 5 guys. Went this morning and caught another 30.
