Caught a pretty good one yesterday. Not my biggest but considering she came from a lake known for number (not size), I'm happy. Didn't weigh or measure her as I wanted to get her back in ASAP.

25incher-released. Got my limit on the jig pole that night plus a few shorts, made for a fun night!

I'm purely guessing but I'm pretty sure she weighed quite a bit more than that. I'm guessing she was closer to 12-15lbs.

I wouldn't argue. I have never been lucky or skilled enough to require the use of a scale. :o I just keep what I think is big enough and throw back what I think is too big. I did catch one that size this year but gave it to guy who wanted northerns. He was happy to have it.

I bought a marcum lx5 2 weeks ago. I'm not that Impressed with It. I think I'm sending It back. I have an fl8 that works just fine.

Thats the best way, do it during summer. I just built it when it was 14 degrees out so its not completely finished inside. Good enough to use this year. Now, if only the lakes down here werent over fished.

I've been killing the crappies. Been getting on some 12 to 13 Inchers as of late.
