    Driving down the back roads the other day I came across this little masterpiece. Had to turn around to get a pic of him. He'd look good sitting in my lawn.

    Kind of off the topic... I think there should be a season for the concrete deer people put in their front yards

    I agree. They annoy me like crazy. There is this one guy I know of who puts his on the edge of a field just out of the woods. Gets me every time!

    That's pretty neat. We have a local carver that does all sorts of sculptures with his chainsaw. I've never seen a deer in his collection in his yard, though.

    That's an awesome piece. There is a guy that lives down the road from my folks that does carvings. He mainly does bears. He's really good aswell. Does huge 6' tall bear carvings. His mailbox is a 5' bear holding the mailbox. Its pretty cool. I'll try and remember to snap a pic the next time I'm in that neck of the woods.

    talk about being bored in the offseason!! I thought I had it bad!! but ya DEFINATELY hear you guys with the concrete deer....every flippin time it gets me. I drive a truck, I start at 1am and doing local deliveries in residential areas...I see em all the time....in my mind I see hundreds a deer a week, lol not sure if they are real or not though!
