Alright, I'm not sure if this thread is legal or not but... I want a Jeep. I'm looking for a CJ7 or possibly a YJ. I've wanted one my whole life, I've got a company vehicle, it summer like 8 months out of the year here, I'm sing... well I live by myself, and I want to drive around with my top off. So, if anyone knows of anything... I'm surely not opposed to a roadtrip. I'm looking. It doesn't have to be tricked out, I'll take the barebow... :d :d

Good choice Dub, I don't have one for sale, but in 2001 my Dad and I did a frame up restoration on his '73 CJ5. I'll take a pic tomorrow, give you and idea of what to look for!

The 7's do have a bit more room though.

You should look for a CJ-6 down where you are. Most likely find one on ranches, or farms. Rare, and beautiful. Definatly worth the look.

    Alright Dubs, here she is...
'73 CJ5. Old man bought it new when his older jeep broke down on the way to our Cabin in WI. The engine, grill, and drive train are original, along with the dash and a few other odds and ends. New frame, new body, new suspension, new 32" tires, and tons of accessories. It was a blast to rebuild, & I learned a ton about cars (like how every part in the drum brake works).

    Good luck with your search!

She's tall, I'm 6'2", and the cage is above my head.

Here's the AMC 304 V8. Plenty of power even when we had 36" tires on.

Ah, yes jeeps. I'm a Toyota man my self, but I do like Jeeps. Particularly the JK Rubicon. At least SOMEBODY is still making a true 4wd vehicle with a SFA. Good choice Dustin. Check internet forums and Craigslist. That's one thing there's little shortage of, and that's Jeeps for sale:D

I see them up here more often then you would think. What if we find one and you fly in for the G2G and drive it back home? I will keep an eye out for you!
