There's already a stand there. Of course it's not my stand. But that's the little buck anyway

Well as I type this, we moved my mother into our house today after her appointment with the CVT Surgeon here in Erie. It appears we have a few issues that are related to the heart.

One is the "leaky valve" (valves in our case), this occurs when a valve does not close tightly. If the valves do not seal, some blood will leak backwards across the valve. As the leak worsens, the heart has to work harder to make up for the leaky valve, and less blood may flow to the rest of the body. Repair/Replacement is a solution depending on the outcome of the second issue.

The second issue is this, we were told today that my mother does have a tumor which is located in the Right Atrium. It is not known at this time, due to the limitation of the CT Scan that was performed, if it is located inside or outside the heart wall. This will need to have a bioposy to determine what the procedure from here will be.

We are going in Wednesday for for further determination and testing. Things are moving along very quick and she has the best care that is possible at this point.

Our family along with my mother appreciate your prayers...
    Thanks for your time
    Rob
