I posted several times the buckeyes would have a hard time @ camp randell. No one believed me. So I'm had to post from the bar near grouse camp that I told you so. Sorry buckeye :-(. Go badgers!! Let the celebration begin.

Shouldn't have been that tough a row to hoe for the best team in the country, though, huh?

They weren't/aren't close to being the best team, though. I don't think that was an upset.

You talkin' "playing the rankings game"? Or, do you really wanna know who the best team is?

    There's a difference.

I don't think oregon is really the #1 team. Maybe by ranking system. Bsu seems to me to be the team non one wants to play.

They don't seem to want to or have to play anyone either...there is a big difference between beating one or two good teams each season rather than going through an entire conference schedule of tough teams in the SEC...BIG 8...PAC 10....BIG TEN...etc

It's just a helluva lot easier to get up for a couple big games each year than to have to bring it every week.

Ive been saying OSU is way over rated. Glad to see the got B#$@h slapped today. Looks like BSU and TCU hold their destiny in their own hands. Oregon has Arizona which could be a tough game. Right now I think BSU will play in the championship game and the winner of the Auburn-Alabama game will play them. That is if Auburn can stay the course they have been playing.

    DOn't get me wrong......

OSU with a loss (or 2-3 losses) is still a better football team than BSU.

Well, I said it earlier in the week, and while I hate to see it, the proof is in the pudding. Terrell Prior is a great runner, but a SORRY EXCUSE for a QB. I used to think he could be coached but I now believe he is just too damned STUPID to play QB, and he just can't read defenses very well.

    Ohio State Buckeyes Comp Att Yds Pct Y/A Sack YdsL TD Int Rating Terrelle Pryor 14 28 156 50.0 5.6 4 24 0 1 89.7

50% completion, and missing on the BIG plays he should have hit on just won't get it done when playing top level college football, and he's been playing that position for THREE years, at this point you'd think he'd have it!!!!

Congrats to the Badgers. We definitely got it handed to us :violin:...
Jeff, to answer your question on the other thread, I saw Mark May, Lou Houltz, Desmond Howard and Lee Corso all call it. And in fairness to OSU, I truly believe that half (or better) of the teams ranked in the top ten would have lost that game, last night.

So who's #1 now? Likely Oregon, though I can't see them holding on 'till the big one. I'm starting to believe that this is the year that BSU and/or TCU finally their shot :tu:. At this rate, I have serious doubts that any team from the major conferences is gonna make it. But I still see both Auburn and Oklahoma jumping the remaining undefeateds, IF they can hold on.... including Oregon.

Whats fun about this loss is, OSU ranked #1 loses in conference to a ranked opponent and it shows how weak the Big Ten is. Alabama ranked #1 loses last week in conference to a ranked opponent and it shows how tough the SEC is. Gotta love college football fans.
